
The markers are all baguette-cut diamonds (there are 12 of them) and they total .34 ct. Its engraving is also different, reading "40" on the top line and "1976-2016" on the bottom line. It sits down at six o'clock on the dial.
From 2011 to 2015, Patek Philippe did make a 5711P, but in extremely limited quantities and by application only. It's unclear exactly how many were made, but we're talking just a handful or so. This is the first time this watch is available at normal retailers and to general customers (and with the diamonds and embossing).
